The Betfred Super League season returned last month, but will you be following your team home and away throughout 2026?

We appreciate it can be tricky working out the best way to go and watch your team from time to time, especially as an away supporter. Which is why Northern, Super League’s sustainable travel partner, are here to help with their game day guide.

Did you also know you can save up to 60% when you book your train tickets in advance?*

Let’s take a look at March's fixtures and ways to travel with Northern…

Round 4 - 5-8 March

Round 4 kicks off with Wakefield Trinity hosting Hull FC this Thursday Night. Sandal & Agbrigg Station is a 20-minute walk to the DIY Kitchens Stadium, with Wakefield Kirkgate also 20 minutes from the ground on foot.

York Knights are back on home soil and will welcome Warrington Wolves to North Yorkshire on Friday. The Northern line runs into York Station with regular buses to and from the stadium available to catch for any fans travelling by train.

Bradford Bulls are in town to take on St Helens on Saturday. For any Bulls supporters planning their Saints away trip – St Helens Central Station is within a short walking distance of the BrewDog Stadium (approximately 16 minutes).

A West Yorkshire Derby awaits on Sunday at AMT Headingley. If you’re off to watch Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers face off, then there are connecting Northern trains ready and waiting to catch from Leeds Station.

Why not enjoy the city of Leeds, before hopping on a train to the Headingley or Burley Park Stations; taking you there in under ten minutes!

And if their Las Vegas performance at the weekend is anything to go by, fans should expect to be thoroughly entertained by this upcoming fixture.

Did you know that trains also run frequently to Huddersfield Station, which is situated in the centre of its town? This is great news for Hull KR fans who are predicted to take a healthy away following to the Accu Stadium when they meet with Huddersfield Giants, as they looked to bounce back from their defeat in Vegas.

Round 5 - 19-22 March

Are you heading to watch Wigan versus York in Round 5? Wigan Wallgate and Wigan North Western Stations are close by The Brick Community Stadium (Both a 20-minute walk).

Will the Warriors have maintained their perfect start to the season by this point?

Play-Off hopefuls Wakefield and Leigh Leopards clash in Round 5 – again Wakefield Kirkgate and Sandal Agbrigg Stations are within a 20-minute walking distance.

The Bulls entertain the Giants at Bartercard Odsal in Week 5. Northern trains run right into the city at Bradford Interchange or at the opposite side to Low Moor. It’s then the quickest of bus trips to Bartercard Odsal where ‘Bullmania’ has been reignited, and you can experience this live!

Warrington Central is just a short walk of seven minutes to the Halliwell Jones Stadium – perfect for Cas fans coming over the Pennines in Round 5.

Finally, Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos will see out the round. It’s a 20-30 minute walk to the MKM Stadium from Hull Station. Time to get those steps in ahead of kick off!

Round 6 - 26-29 March

The Tigers and the Bulls get Round 6 underway, and fans can reach their destination of The OneBore Stadium in less than 20 minutes from Castleford Station!

An away day is in order for St Helens, who are in action to the current champions Hull KR in East Hull, which means Hull Station is the closest before hopping on a local bus straight through to Sewell Group Craven Park.

Trinity fans can catch a train into York Station for their Round 6 encounter with the Knights, with regular buses to and from the stadium available to catch.

Then, the Warriors are back at The Brick to take on the Giants. Take your pick from Wigan Wallgate or Wigan North Western if you’re train journeying for this one!

And if you’re having a day out for Leeds versus Warrington – don’t forget there’s a connecting train from Leeds Station to Headingley or Burley Park. Northern have got you covered!

Rivals Round (Round 7) - 3-5 April

It means more in Rivals Round, and where travelling is concerned, it’s a short trip by train to face your nearest and dearest!

There will be no love lost between the Saints and the Warriors. Fans can travel directly from Wigan North Western to St Helens Central Station in just 15 minutes, then it’s a 16-minute walk to Saints’ place. Don’t miss this famous Good Friday Derby!

Who’s ready for Bradford and Leeds to reunite their rivalry? Another Good Friday classic! There are direct Northern trains from Leeds to and from both Bradford stations (Interchange and Low Moor) and then you can catch local buses to the stadium.

York Knights will participate in their first ever Super League Rivals Round and can travel to Huddersfield via train in an hour. The Accu Stadium is then just a 15-minute walk from the town centre.

There are always fireworks when the Wolves and the Leopards go head-to-head, with Warrington Central just a stones’ throw away.

Concluding Rivals Round is Castleford and Wakefield on Easter Sunday. Travelling by train is always a popular choice when these two fierce neighbours go up against each other.

Remember it’s 20 minutes from station to stadium in Cas town!
