Leeds Rhinos continued to top the table in Round 13 as they edged out fellow Betfred Super League heavyweights St Helens in a Thursday Night thriller.
An entertaining encounter unfolded at AMT Headingley Stadium, with tempers flaring between two of the top sides in the competition.
Alex Walmsley got St Helens on the board in the first instance, before Chris Hankinson hit back for the hosts on his 100th Super League appearance.
It wasn't long before Kyle Feldt crossed in the corner and Tristan Sailor produced a fine finish on the opposite side, giving the Red V a convincing 8-16 lead at the break.
A tale of two halves quickly unfolded though, as Harry Newman responded for Leeds - kicking off the beginning of a fiesty second stanza.
Jake Connor played a crucial role, holding his nerve to kick a late penalty that drew the scores level before converting another to edge his side ahead.
The Rhinos then had the last laugh through Maika Sivo who touched down for his 20th Super League try of the 2026 season and the match-winning score.
A win for Brad Arthur's men means they are now two points clear of Saints and Warrington, and have finally ended their eight straight home losses to the Saints (24-16).
Onto Friday and Warrington Wolves scraped past Hull FC in Round 13, with two tries from Josh Smith.
Despite the Black & Whites taking an early lead through Harvey Barron, they were unable to get any more points on the board, before the Wolves capitalised through Smith in the second half (12-4).
Meanwhile, Leigh Leopards secured their fifth win in six matches as they overcame Castleford Tigers on the road (14-24).
Adam Cook's late try proved to be the match-winner, as Leigh were made to work hard by their opponents, who started fast via Jason Qareqare in the corner.
But two tries in a matter of minutes was ultimately what did it for the visitors, with Jacob Alick-Wiencke and Innes Senior both crossing - then Jack Hughes' try came shortly afterwards.
George Lawler managed to respond for the Tigers, but it was too little too late, as Adrian Lam's men took home the two points, and continue to charge up the league ladder.
The third offering on Friday Night saw an enthralling contest between Bradford Bulls and York Knights at Bartercard Odsal Stadium.
It was their first meeting since locking horns in the Betfred Championship last season, and it was the Bulls that came out on top, inspired by the return of their key playmakers Jayden Nikorima and Joe Mellor, as well as debutant Riley Dean who scored a personal haul of 18 points.
David Nofoaluma completed a hat-trick on the losing side, whilst Liam Harris grabbed a consolation, but it was Bradford's try scorers Nikorima, Mellor, Dean, and Eribe Doro, who would steal the show (30-20).
Another triple-header took place on Saturday, starting with Huddersfield Giants and Toulouse Olympique's clash.
The two teams went head-to-head at the home of Dewsbury Rams, the FLAIR Stadium, and it was the French side who triumphed in the battle of the bottom two.
Sylvain Houles' men outscored the Giants by six tries to three, with Henry O'Kane and Mathieu Jussaume both bagging braces. Paul Ulberg and Ethan Quai-Ward were also on the scoresheet as Toulouse secured their fourth win of the season in style (16-26).
A dramatic finish at the DIY Kitchens Stadium saw Wakefield Trinity stun reigning champions Hull KR thanks to a brilliant solo try from Mason Lino in the dying moments.
Wakefield took an initial lead through Oli Pratt, before magic Mikey Lewis replied for the Robins. Tries from Cam Scott and Josh Rourke, however, helped the hosts establish a stronger advantage.
The to-ing and fro-ing didn't stop there, with KR's Jai Whitbread and Trin's Matty Storton scoring a try each.
Sam Luckley's effort kept the visitors well in the game, and the comeback looked to be completed when Tyrone May's sensational piece of individual brilliance gave the Robins their first lead with fifteen minutes left on the clock.
But Lino had the final say two minutes from time, sending the Trinity home crowd into raptures (26-24).
To conclude the round, Catalans Dragons celebrated their 20th anniversary of competing in the competition, as well as 30 years since Super League first kicked off between Paris St Germain and Sheffield Eagles on home soil, as they hosted Wigan Warriors at Stade Jean Bouin in Paris.
The Warriors backed up their emphatic Betfred Challenge Cup Final victory with another comfortable win away from home, defeating the Dragons, 16-40.
Wigan dominated in Paris, running in first-half tries through Jai Field and Junior Nsemba, as well as young gun George Marsden, who produced a magnificent score, Jack Farrimond and Jake Wardle, while Solomona Faataape registered Catalans’ only try before the interval.
After the break, Zac Lipowicz and Chris Satae gave the French side something to cheer about, although Zach Eckersley and Adam Keighran rounded off with tries, on what will be a memorable occasion.
