Fantasy League debrief
9 hrs
We’ve nearly reached the halfway point of the Betfred Super League season.
From last minute wins to top of the table battles, and a 20-year celebration of the Catalans Dragons in the top flight, Round 13 had it all!
As always, here are Fantasy's top performers and flops...
Top performers
Mathieu Jussaume (84 points)
Jussaume is perhaps one of the most underrated Fantasy players of the 2026 season.
The Frenchman yet again proved his sheer value to a Toulouse side that comprehensively beat the Giants on Saturday!
Jussaume crossed the whitewash twice, made one offload, broke through five tackles, and broke the line once.
The Toulouse centre, recently turned second-rower, clearly loves to carry the ball hard and make metres for his side.
Priced at just £90k, you’d find it very hard to find another player that costs the same and provides so many Fantasy points week in week out.
Joe Mellor (79 points)
Back in the action and back in the Fantasy points for the Bulls’ loose forward and their skipper.
And it’s no surprise for regular players of Fantasy Super League. In fact, Mellor is so popular among Fantasy players that he’s one of the most transferred in players of 2026!
The veteran scored an important try on his return and led his side brilliantly around the park - something Bradford have missed massively in recent weeks.
Mellor punches well above his price tag where Fantasy points are concerned and can provide great value for money. £110k is an absolute steal based on his performances in 2026!
Looking for a new loose-forward for your side? He should be at the top of your list.
Tyrone May (76 points)
The Robins scrum half has enjoyed a stellar season in 2026 and has even been in the initial conversations as a contender for the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel Award.
Despite being on the losing side at the weekend, the Robins’ number 7 can be proud of his performance.
May scored a sensational solo try and assisted two more. He’s already racked up 590 Fantasy points so far this season and is a cheaper alternative to other half-backs at £120k. Is that enough to convince you to put him in your side for Round 14?
Olly Ashall-Bott (76 points)
The Toulouse number one was at the heart of everything for the French side against the Giants on Saturday.
Whether it was his try assist, 120 metres, or a staggering 15 tackle busts, it was an all-action display from the full-back.
Ashall-Bott made one try assist. Made a staggering fifteen tackle busts and carried the
This isn’t the first time Ashall-Bott has featured on this list. And for good reason - he’s a constant source of Fantasy points for any side, and an attractive £120k, too. Will you be including him in your team?
Junior Nsemba (75 points)
The powerful Warriors’ second-rower looks like he’s back to his brilliant best! His performance in Paris certainly reinforced why he was named Young Player of the Year in 2024!
Nsemba carried the ball for 140 metres, made three clean line breaks and provided a try assist, as well as scoring one himself.
He’s by no means the cheapest at £150k, but given his red-hot form in recent weeks, he’s definitely worth splashing the cash on.
Fantasy flops
Toby King (17 points)
The Wolves centre will be disappointed he didn’t make any impact as the Wolves narrowly beat the Black & Whites.
Especially as his recent form has seen him nominated for May’s Glen’s Player of the Month. He’ll want to do better in round 14…
Jack Broadbent (18 points)
It was a similar story for the versatile Robins’ back. He failed to leave any mark on their bruising battle with Trinity on Saturday. Broadbent will hope to bounce back this weekend.
