Joshua Coric joins the Black & Whites for 2027

Hull FC have announced the signing of Australian forward Joshua Coric for the 2027 Betfred Super League season.

The 24-year old middle will join the club from Wynnum Manly Seagulls, signing a two-year deal with the Black & Whites that will keep him at the MKM Stadium until at least the end of the 2028 campaign.

Coric has established himself as one of Wynnum Manly’s most consistent forwards in the Queensland Cup over the past two seasons, making 40 appearances for the Seagulls since the start of the 2025 campaign, having joined the club from St George’s reserve grade side.

A powerful and hard-working forward, who can operate at both prop and loose-forward, Coric has enjoyed an impressive 2026 campaign, averaging 151 running metres per appearance while maintaining a tackle efficiency of over 96%.

He has also demonstrated his ability to make an impact with the ball, crossing for eight tries in 17 appearances so far this season.

Coric made his NRL debut for Brisbane Broncos in July, coming off the bench against Cronulla.

He will now take the next step in his career with the move to Super League alongside teammate Jordan Swann, adding further competition, physicality and depth to Hull FC’s forward pack for 2027.

Coric becomes Head Coach Steve McNamara’s sixth signing, alongside Bailey Hodgson, Daly Cherry-Evans, Isaac Liu, Alrix Da Costa, and Swann.

I know the competition is going to be tough and demanding, but that’s exactly what I’m looking for at this stage of my career. I’m excited to test myself against some of the best players in the game and learn from the experience.

“I can’t wait to get over to Hull, meet the supporters and experience playing in front of them at the MKM Stadium. I’ve heard a lot about the passion of the Hull FC supporters, and I’m really looking forward to experiencing that for myself.
