Catalans comfortable in capital

London Broncos 6-39 Catalans Dragons

London Broncos remain second bottom in Betfred Super League following a 39-6 home defeat to sixth-placed Catalans Dragons.

A fourth consecutive loss left the Broncos just two points above Leeds Rhinos, who face Huddersfield Giants on Friday.

Catalans had established a 14-0 lead by half-time following a strong performance.

Sam Tomkins converted Matt Whitley's early try and then kicked a penalty before London let the ball bounce and Lewis Tierney scored.

Greg Bird, Arthur Romano and Tomkins then crossed in the early stages of the second half to make the game safe.

Whitley scored a second try before London replied, crossing through Mark Ioane, but Tomkins kicked another penalty for the rampant Dragons.
