Hull KR 6-54 Warrington Wolves

Warrington Wolves bounced back to winning ways with a comfortable 54-6 Betfred Super League win over Hull Kingston Rovers.

Ben Crooks gave Hull KR an early lead before Blake Austin crossed for his 12th try of the year and then turned provider for Tom Lineham to go over in the corner.

Joe Philbin pounced on Dec Patton's grubber kick for Warrington's third try and Josh Charnley then crossed early in the second half.

Bryson Goodwin went over soon after before Philbin claimed his second of the afternoon and Stefan Ratchford made it six from six from the tee.

Toby King crossed and Lineham then sprinted 90 metres for his second of the match. Sitaleki Akauola wrapped up the scoring with a ninth try for the Wolves.

Warrington coach Steve Price said: "I could feel they were bending about 12 to 14 minutes before half-time. There were a couple of decisions that went against us and we came out after half-time and held our nerve, trusted the process and scored some really good tries. Philbin got two tries and I thought Stef Ratchford, nine from nine with his goal-kicking, was first-class.??

Hull KR coach Tim Sheens said: "We are in a bit of a hole at the moment and it’s just time and effort (that’s) going to work it out. We will get people back but it’s going to be a dark place for us at the minute until we do.??
