Round 13 Preview

Saturday: London Broncos v Salford Red Devils (3PM)

London currently sit at the bottom of the Super League table, they’ve lost the last five games, their most recent victory came at the Emerald Headingley Stadium in March and they are only below Leeds by points difference.

Salford Red Devils shocked Warrington Wolves on Good Friday but came undone against Wigan Warriors by a late Zak Hardaker try, they’re currently seventh in the table with Jackson Hastings picking up two 3-point Man of Steel games over Easter.

Saturday: Wigan Warriors v Castleford Tigers (Live on Sky Sports, 5:15PM)

Castleford come into this fixture with only two wins in the past six games, they’ve struggled with injuries so far this season and a tough trip to Perpignan on Easter Monday couldn’t have been any tougher as they lost 37-16.

Wigan Warriors have been inconsistent this season, Adrian Lam has handed out debuts to teenagers Morgan Smithies and Amir Bourouh, they beat Salford Red Devils on Easter Monday in a closely fought contest at the AJ Bell.

Sunday: Hull FC v Wakefield Trinity (3PM)

Hull FC have won four out of their past six games, their two losses came against Super League’s top performing teams Warrington Wolves and St Helens on Easter Monday, in both of those games FC conceded more than 60 points.

Wakefield have also won four in six games, they’re currently in third place above rivals Castleford Tigers. In the last round, a depleted Trinity side beat Leeds Rhinos by two points.

Sunday: Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR (3PM)

Leeds will be disappointed to have lost against Wakefield by two points on Monday, they currently sit in 11th place with only London below them – the two teams are level on points with Rhinos having a superior goal difference – and KR above Leeds by two points.

If Leeds beat KR they will move onto the same amount of points and ahead of them on point difference.

Sunday: St Helens v Catalans Dragons (3PM)

St Helens only loss of the season came against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan, since then they’ve won three games, scoring over 130 points including a 62-16 demolition of Hull FC.

Dragons will be disappointed they haven’t won four games in a row, there only loss came against FC in controversial fashion when Marc Sneyd scored a drop goal in golden point time a week after beating Saints.

Sunday: Warrington Wolves v Huddersfield Giants (3PM)

Warrington Wolves are four points behind top of the table St Helens after their shock Good Friday loss to Salford Red Devils, they bounced back on Easter Monday with an emphatic 54-6 victory at Hull KR.

Huddersfield are now on ten points after their poor start to the season, they beat London Broncos on Easter Monday, England winger Jermaine McGillvary scored two tries.
