Smart Energy GB continue their partnership with Super League

Rugby League Commercial is delighted to confirm an extension of the sport's partnership with Smart Energy GB - the independent, non-profit organisation that helps households and small businesses across Great Britain to understand how smart meters can benefit them, their families and the environment.

After making a big hit with the England Men's and Women's teams during last autumn's internationals, Smart Energy GB will now be recognising the leading metre-maker in every round of the Super League season - the player who runs the furthest in possession. 

Leeds Rhinos and England flier Ash Handley has been an early-season pacesetter after running for an amazing 191 metres in their match with Hull KR, and the Warrington full-back Matt Dufty has also recorded some impressive statistics in the Wolves' promising start to the campaign.

Smart Energy GB will be providing fans with energy-saving tips for their homes as well as promoting the benefits of using a smart meter - and players from all 12 Men's Super League clubs have opened up to Smart Energy GB, testing their knowledge on energy usage. 

Smart Energy GB will also be working with Rugby League Cares - the sport's independent charity - helping them to educate people about financial well-being when they deliver their Offload sessions, focusing on mental health across the north of England.
