Leeds Rhinos 8-30 Castleford Tigers

Castleford Tigers ended a run of four straight defeats in all competitions with a 30-8 victory over struggling Leeds Rhinos at new-look Emerald Headingley.

Jesse Sene-Lefao scored two tries to lift the Tigers to third in the Betfred Super League table, ruining the Rhinos' grand opening of their new stand.

Liam Sutcliffe put Leeds, looking to respond to their shock Coral Challenge Cup defeat to Bradford Bulls, ahead with a penalty in the 14th minute.

But Sene-Lefao powered his way over and, after Kallum Watkins was sin-binned, Greg Eden scored in the corner following a lofted pass from Jake Trueman.

Sene-Lefao then went over again five minutes after half-time to make it 18-2 and, although Leeds responded through Matt Parcell, James Clare and Trueman both crossed to seal the win for the Tigers.
