Wigan Warriors 46-16 Wakefield Trinity

Wigan Warriors moved up to fourth in Super League with a convincing 46-16 win over Wakefield Trinity at the DW Stadium.

Wigan went flying out of the blocks in the first half.

Liam Farrell put Wigan ahead went he went over inside three minutes and the Warriors didn’t look back.

Tries from Zak Hardaker and Willie Isa increased Wigan's lead to 18-0 in 15 minutes.

A second from Farrell, Jake Shorrocks and Jarrod Sammut extended the Wigan lead to 32-0 at half time.

Trinity struck first in the second 40 when Ryan Hampshire went over, but Oliver Gildart replied for Wigan with a full length effort to restore the lead to 34 with half an hour remaining.

Hampshire got his second after getting onto another kick to go over in the corner, but Farrell made sure there was no chance of a comeback with his hat-trick try.
