Regan Grace is the fastest player in Super League. For the play-offs, the data compiled will enable us to share some of the extreme stats and showcase some of the most athletic athletes in the world.
Salford Red Devils’ Adam Lawton, made the most metres per minute in the first round of the play-offs, averaging 140 m/min, he played just over 36 minutes.
In fact, four Salford players had higher metres per minute than any other player in the three other play-off playing sides.
Logan Tomkins and Krisnan Inu, like Lawton had limited game time, but they hit 106.8 and 105.2 m/min respectively. Niall Evalds was the fourth, hitting 103.2 m/min after playing the full game in their loss against Wigan Warriors.
Evalds and Warriors’ Zak Hardaker were two of the performers of the night, Hardaker covered 8.73km reaching a top speed of 28.76 km/h, compared to Evalds’ 9.56km and a top speed of 31.11 km/h.
Joe Burgess clocked up the highest speed in Round One, he hit a high speed of 34.8 km/h. Interestingly, Regan Grace in St Helens’ last game of the season only managed a speed of 33.79 km/h. They’ll face off in their next game in the battle of the speedsters.

Morgan Smithies made an astonishing 72 tackles, a new record of tackles in a single Super League game. He covered 7.2km throughout the game averaging 88.29m/min.
His teammate, Liam Farrell, showed why he was picked for the 2019 Super League Dream Team, he made 8.3km and averaged 89.21 m/min.
It was the battle of the halves at the DW Stadium, as Jackson Hastings travelled to Wigan, next year, he’ll replace their half-back, George Williams, who is moving to Canberra Raiders to follow in the footsteps of former Wigan players John Bateman and Ryan Sutton.
Hastings hit one of the top speeds in Round One, 32.98 km/h, his rival, Williams hit 31.75 km/h. Hastings also covered more ground and more metres per minute than Williams.
