Alex Walker joins Wakefield Trinity from London Broncos

Wakefield Trinity have announced the signing of Alex Walker on a two-year deal.

The full-back joins Trinity from London Broncos ahead of the 2020 Betfred Super League season.

Walker has been a shining light in the capital for the last few seasons and has established himself as a quality Super League full-back, featuring 27 times in 2019.

The 24-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the Broncos, scoring an impressive 41 tries during that time.

Walker has also represented Scotland at international level, making four appearances.

On signing for Trinity, Walker said: 

“I’m really looking forward to this challenge. Wakefield have been a top Super League team for a while now and despite things not going their way at times in 2019, I believe the squad is more than capable of breaking into the play-off’s in 2020.

“The style of play particularly pleases me and I’m looking forward to being part of that and linking up with the the quality players across the park.

“I’m excited for pre-season to get underway now and I’ll be ripping in to prepare as best as I can for a successful 2020!??
