Blake Austin scored one of the most memorable tries in the history of Dacia Magic Weekend, skipping past the Wigan defence to score under the posts. Warrington Wolves’ halfback also made five tackle busts, four attacking kicks and two clean breaks.
Jermaine McGillvary
Huddersfield Giants’ fondness of Magic Weekend continued in 2019 as they hammered Hull FC 55-2 at Anfield. Giants’ winger, Jermaine McGillvary, scored two tries, made one assist and made 147 metres.
Tony Gigot
Catalans Dragons beat Wakefield Trinity 25-18 in a thrilling opening encounter in Liverpool. Tony Gigot inspired the Perpignan side to victory, scoring a try, making two assists, and kicking a drop goal.

Lachlan Coote
St Helens were ruthless all season, against Castleford they showed why they were a class apart from the pack as they dismantled Daryl Powell’s men 36-16. Coote scored a try, made two assists and 130 metres.
Harry Newman
Leeds Rhinos held off a determined fightback from London Broncos to deliver a first win for coach, Richard Agar. Harry Newman was one of the nominees for the Young Player of the Year, and he showed his qualities on the big stage scoring a try, and making 143 metres.
