Have you got the #SkillToPlay?
Team Rugby League activities are on hold for a while. But as we wait for the action to restart, some of our Rugby League stars are sharing their skills with the next generation - and keeping everyone active and connected to the sport.
The Rugby Football League have launched the #SkillToPlay online resource which showcase some of the game’s finest players and help children and young people to emulate the skills of their heroes.
Freely available via rugby-league.com and Our League, #SkillToPlay inspires children through a range of exciting skills and drills, including how to touchdown like the Tommies (Johnstone and Makinson), and run like Regan Grace.
At the heart of the #SkillToPlay programme are resources to help young players discover the freedom and confidence to try new ideas and express themselves through ‘free play’.
And there are great prizes on offer for the best and funniest videos submitted using the #SkillToPlay hashtag.
Other content will include an archive of classic games to watch together, and mental fitness resources for adults and for children and young people. All free, all for everyone.
#SkillToPlay is available at https://www.rugby-league.com/skill_to_play and on Our League.
