Super League Live Games

This week's Super League fixtures on YouTube & Facebook

Since the announcement that the Betfred Super League has been suspended following the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been coming up with new ways to engage and entertain our dedicated fans.

Next week marks the 25th anniversary of the Betfred Super League, so what better time to launch the #SLRewind campaign, winding back the clock on some of our most infamous games.

Betfred Super League have filled our usual Thursday and Friday night Sky Sports slots with some memorable clashes via YouTube and Facebook to keep our fans entertained during our break from live fixtures.

Now more than ever, during a time of self-isolation, is an opportune moment to spend more time with loved ones, and show off to your children the games that made YOU fall in love with our great sport.

Throughout the games, the social team updated the fans across our social channels with real-time match commentary and the usual content posted throughout a fixture, clipping out big hits, great tries, and score updates.

Over the two days, over 80,000 fans tuned in to Super League via YouTube and Facebook to get their weekly fix of Rugby League action, will you be joining them this week?

Thursday night saw the launch of #SLRewind with the 2015 classic Lancashire clash between St Helens and Warrington Wolves. After trailing 18-06 at half time, the Wolves came back in fighting spirit, making for a very entertaining second-half.

Friday night brought our fans one of the greatest Yorkshire derbies of the Super League era, where the win was clenched with just 8 seconds on the clock.

Everyone remembers the contest between Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos, but was it Ryan Halls try that’s etched in your mind, or the look of sheer determination, shortly followed by disappointment painted on Jerry’s face that stays with you now?

This week's fixtures throwback to 2017, two games decided by one point. It's the iconic Castleford Tigers vs St Helens clash on Friday, but the day before we'll see Hull FC host Wakefield Trinity.
