The Extra Mile - The Inside Story

Earlier this month Kevin Sinfield set out on an epic challenge in support of friend and former teammate Rob Burrow in his battle against MND. His challenge was to cover 101 miles in just 24 hours, running from Leicester Tigers stadium to Headingley Stadium.

Go inside the team as they battle conditions, weather and fatigue to achieve a magnificent outcome for the charities.  

Kevin has so far raised over £4.8m for MND charities in the last 12 months with his 7 in 7 challenge last December and his Extra Mile challenge this month.

Donations will be split equally between the Leeds Hospitals Charity appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND supporting people living with MND and their families, and the MND Association which funds multi-disciplinary care delivered at the Centre and others across the country, as well as research into potential treatments for the disease.
