Ashall-Bott joins Toulouse

Toulouse Olympique have announced the signing of  Olly Ashall-Bott. The Huddersfield Giants full back joins Toulouse with immediate effect and has committed until the end of 2024.

Ashall-Bott joined Hudderdfield Giants in 2021, playing a total of 10 games. He played for the Giants during Toulouse Olympique's first Super League meeting when he scored a try for Huddersfield in the 73rd minute.

On signing with Toullouse, Ashall-Bott saind: "After playing in Toulouse 1 week ago, I could see that they have everything to be a Super League club that are fighting to win trophies in the years to come and I looking forward to being part of it. After talking with Sylvain and Cédric, their ambition and objectives are very clear, and that corresponds to what I want for my career. It didn't take much to convince me and I look forward to working with Sylvain.

I'm sad to be leaving my teammates at Huddersfield as they are a group of great lads, but I can't wait to meet my new teammates, start with Toulouse, and play in front of the Toulouse fans. »

Bernard Sarrazain, President of TO XIII added: “Olly's arrival is excellent news for the club and the team, which is continuing its apprenticeship in the Super League. Sylvain Houles was looking for a fullback to solidify his squad and Olly's explosiveness and speed will be a valuable asset.
