Lewis set for spell on the side lines

Hull KR have suffered a huge injury blow ahead of Rivals Round following the news that star half-back Mikey Lewis is set for an extended period on the side lines.

Lewis will be unavailable for the next 6-8 weeks after he ruptured ligaments in his ankle early in the second half of the Robins’ 34-10 Challenge Cup Quarter-Final win over Castleford Tigers last weekend. 

The England Knights half-back will require surgery on the injury and will be in a protective boot for the beginning of his rehab.
