Fantasy League debrief

Top performers
David Fifita had an explosive 54-minute stint for Trinity in Round 14, top scoring in Fantasy with 88 points. He was a constant handful in attack with 150 run metres, 9 tackle busts and 4 offloads, as well as putting in a 34 tackle shift in defence. The popular Fantasy forward found form reminiscent of his rampaging 2021 season which saw him top the overall points scoring charts.
Rhinos skipper Kruise Leeming recorded an impressive 85 points after a try and two assists against the Wolves over the weekend. Fellow hooker Matt Parcell continued his impressive season with another big score – Parcell finished with 79 points thanks to a try assist, line break, 5 tackle busts and 28 tackles.
Elsewhere, Zak Hardaker looks to be finding his stride again following his mid-season move to Leeds. He recorded 78 points and could be a potential buy in the centre position for the remainder of the year.

Fantasy flops
Some potent Fantasy players were missing in Round 14 as the aftermath from the Challenge Cup came into effect. John Bateman missed out despite being named in Wigan’s 21-man squad earlier in the week, leaving Fantasy owners without one of their most reliable assets.
Popular hooker Danny Levi had his minutes reduced in Round 14 after a big Cup Final performance for Huddersfield - he managed just 23 minutes on the field against Catalans, recording a below-par score of 17.
Ligi Sao also missed out for Hull FC after initially being named in their 21-man squad – Sao has been a popular Fantasy figure in 2022 and was in the top three points scorers across all prop forwards prior to this weekends action.
Looking ahead
Peter Mata’utia picked up a one match ban following the Wolves game against Leeds and will be unavailable in Round 15. Mata’utia is currently the third highest scoring centre in Fantasy and a popular choice amongst Fantasy owners.
