Lafai and Sao set for World Cup Final
17 Nov 2022

Ligi Sao and Tim Lafai are both set to feature in the Men's Rugby League World Cup Final this Saturday after being named in Samoa's 19-man squad.
The pair were drafted into the squad following an opening day defeat against England which saw Samoa lose several players through injury.
Since then, Hull FC's Ligi Sao and Salford Red Devils' Tim Lafai have featured in all of Samoa's World Cup fixtures and are now expected to star in Saturday's Final at Old Trafford.
It comes after Samoa's dramatic golden point victory against England at the Emirates Stadium last weekend, as Matt Parish's side now prepare to feature in their first ever major final.
