Chan signs one-year deal with Dragons

Catalans Dragons have announced that Tiaki Chan has signed his first professional contract by agreeing a a one-year deal with the Club.

The young prop, 22, joined the Dragons' training squad last season. Tiaki, son of ex-Dragon Alex Chan and brother Joe Chan, played his first game in Betfred Super League last July against Leeds Rhinos. He made three appearances with Catalans Dragons across the 2022 season.

Tiaki Chan said: "I am very proud to get my first professional contract. I am ready to do everything to earn a spot in the squad and to have the opportunity to play in Super League. I am now looking forward to start the 2023 season."

Steve McNamara said: "Tiaki has worked extremely hard to get this full time opportunity. His energy and all action style will again add strength to our playing group."
