Field wins Northern Try of the Month

The 2023 Betfred Super League season continued at apace in March, and we were treated to some fantastic tries across five thrilling rounds. 

Of all the tries scored, a shortlist of six was put to a fan vote on the Our League app and after a closely fought contest, Jai Field's brilliant individual try for Wigan Warriors against Leigh Leopards, has been named as March's Northern Try of the Month winner.

Field, who scored a brace of tries in the Warriors' win against the Leopards in Round 7, used his brilliant footwork and blistering pace to race away from the Leopards defenders to the delight of the Warriors' travelling supporters.

The Northern Try of the Month is awarded each month of the Super League season running from February to September, with fans giving the chance to pick their favourite and vote via the Our League app.
