Catapult stats tracker: Litten shows promise

Hull FC youngster Davy Litten was a shining light for the Black & Whites during another disappointing defeat. Tony Smith's side suffered their seventh straight loss in Round 9, but Litten's effort didn't waver.

Litten started at full back for the first time this season and showed unrelenting spirit to top two of the four key GPS metrics in Round 9. Litten covered 9,230 metres on Friday Night - the highest total of the round - with Hull KR duo Jordan Abdull (9,023) and Lachlan Coote (8,918) close behind.

He also performed at a higher intensity than any other player across Round 9. Litten worked at a hugely impressive 110 metres per minute - a staggering effort from a tireless 80 minute display. James Roby (105) and Will Gardiner (104) were the other high performers of the round, although they both featured for just 30 minutes.

Elsewhere, Bevan French was at his busy best against the Wolves, recording 14 high speed efforts. He has hit the high speed threshold more than any other player in 2023, registering 77 high speed efforts so far this year.
