Hull FC Unveil Armed Forces Shirt

Hull FC have unveiled  their 2023 Armed Forces jersey and training range, which will be worn at their upcoming Armed Forces Match Day against Castleford at the MKM Stadium in July.

The shirt takes inspiration from the forces, in particular club legend Jack Harrison VC MC, as well as raising awareness for the work of Armed Forces Covenant Fund.

The Hull FC Community Foundation work in partnership with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to deliver projects and exercises to engage and support male and female veterans that have served in the forces that now live in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Hull FC deliver fitness sessions, family engagement activities, peer-to-peer support and mental health programmes, and have even hosted veterans groups at the club's offices at the MKM Stadium.

The Black & Whites will continue their long and close relationship with the forces through their new Armed Forces jersey, which is on sale now online at hullfcshop.com

The jersey features one of the club's favourite alternate designs with a 'V' across the chest, and a stylish grey and white camouflage design below, as well as a subtle Union Jack within the design and the inclusion of the Armed Forces Covenant logo.

Meanwhile, the crimson trim is in tribute to Hull FC Hall of Fame member Jack Harrison VC MC, who gave his life in battle during the First World War.

The crimson trim is the colour of the ribbon used on the Victoria Cross he earned, with the pattern of the medal also included within the design of the shirt, so the players can carry the memory of Jack Harrison on the club's Armed Forces Day.
