McNamara awarded June Betfred Coach of the Month

Catalans Dragons Head Coach Steve McNamara has been named as the latest Betfred Coach of the Month after his side made it three wins from three in June.

June began with a Magic Weekend showdown between the Dragons and fellow title contenders, Wigan Warriors, with the French side producing a dominant display to successfully dismantle their opponents 22-46 at St James? Park. This was followed by back-to-back victories in Perpignan against Hull KR and Leigh Leopards.

After heartbreak in last year?s play-offs, McNamara?s side have hit the ground running this season and currently sit top of the Super League table with 13 wins from 17 and the 51-year-old will be hoping to continue this form leading into this weekend?s fixture against Huddersfield Giants.

On receiving the accolade for June, McNamara said:
