Schneider voted Glen’s Player of the Month

Rugby League fans have spoken - and Brad Schneider of Hull KR has been named Glen's Vodka Super League Player of the Month for July.

The coveted award to recognise the competition's form player is being decided for the first time in 2023 through the votes of supporters on the Our League app.

After a huge response when the six candidates were revealed last week, the Robins half-back has come out on top as the July Glen's Vodka Player of the Month.

The 22-year-old has been a standout player for Willie Peter's side in recent weeks, inspiring the Robins to victories over Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers, the former of which he landed the match-winning drop goal against - along with his first-ever try for the club.

Schneider followed this up with another crucial drop goal in the club's Challenge Cup Semi Final victory over Wigan Warriors, securing his side a place at this weekend's Wembley Final.

The Australian finished the month with one try, three try assists and one drop goal in just two Super League appearances.

Following Saturday's Wembley trip, the Robins will return to action when they travel to face St Helens in Round 22 on Friday 18 August.
