Fantasy League debrief

Update your Fantasy League team here

Top performers

Ryan Hall delivered once again in Fantasy League this week after an impressive performance in Hull KR's victory over Leigh. With an impressive 108 points scored, Hall contributed with 2 tries, a try assist and a massive 10 tackle busts to reaffirm his position as one of the best wingers in Fantasy.

The returning Elliot Minchella was another Hull KR player amongst the top performers this week. The loose forward chipped in with a try, 5 offloads and 9 tackle busts. Minchella again proving to be a fantastic Fantasy option thanks to a whopping score of 102.

Cameron Smith - the leading scorer in Fantasy League - once again returned an exceptional score this week with 92 point haul. Scoring 1542 points so far this season, it was no surprise to see another high return from the Rhinos star man. Smith managed 51 tackles, 6 tackle busts and 167 metres from 26 carries despite being on a losing side. Smith once again showing he is a set and forget captain option for the final month of the regular season.

Fantasy flops

Lachlan Lam's Fantasy performance suffered after his side suffered a heavy defeat to Hull KR on Friday Night. Despite Lam contributing with an assist, he was unable to perform to his usual standards and unfortunately failed to impress owners with an under par 25 points.

Tom Johnstone also underperformed in Round 23 after scoring just 16 points. Johnstone only managed to play 41 minutes in his sides heavy defeat against Wigan. During his time on the field, Johnstone failed to make any real impact on the game.

Like Lachlan Lam, Leigh captain John Asiata also returned a disappointing score after suffering a big loss away at Hull KR. Asiata's minutes were drastically reduced - playing just 29 minutes - resulting in a severe lack of notable contributions in the game and just 17 Fantasy points.

Looking ahead

Tom Johnstone is ruled out for Round 24 after failing a head injury assessment during his side 34-0 defeat to Wigan. Johnstone has been one of the standout wingers in Fantasy League this season so owners will need to look elsewhere for points on the flank.
