Record opening sales for World Club Challenge

A club record number of tickets have sold in 24-hours with over 10,000 tickets purchased for the highly anticipated 'Clash of the Champions' as Betfred Super League Champions Wigan Warriors take on NRL Premiers Penrith Panthers at the DW Stadium next February.

Tickets went on sale at 9am on Wednesday 20 December to all supporters, with Wigan Warriors announcing that over 10,000 tickets have already been sold in the first 24-hours of sales.

Four-time winners Wigan Warriors will be looking for a record-equalling fifth World Club Challenge title while Penrith will be looking to claim their first win in four attempts.

Penrith supporters are encouraged to purchase seats in NS5 and ES2 to be seated with fellow Panthers fans.
