This year fans will be able to 'Go up against The Pros', as each week an ex-rugby league player will take part in the popular Predictor Game. This week we have former Super League star and veteran French international Jerome Guisset joining in the fun, a man who has previously played for the likes of Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors, and Catalans Dragons, respectively. He has given his predictions on this week's matches as we ahead into an eagerly-awaited Round 1.

Here is a break-down of all six Super League games taking place in Round 1, with Guisset's predictions and Our League member predictions so far:

Hull FC v Hull KR

It's a mouth-watering Hull derby clash to kickstart to Betfred Super League season, where Hull FC have won nine of their last 10 opening games. It was one a piece last year as the Black and Whites were defeated heavily 40-0 on home turf by the Robins, but revenge was soon to be exacted when Hull went on to triumph in the reverse fixture, with a 16-6 win at Sewell Group Craven Park.

Back at the MKM Stadium and with fresh faces across both Hull outfits for 2024, who is predicted to take the derby spoils?

Jerome's prediction: Hull KR

Our League member predictions: Hull FC: 31%, Hull KR: 68%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%

Leeds Rhinos v Salford Red Devils

Over to Friday night and Leeds Rhinos take on Salford Red Devils in the opening round for the first time since 2007. The Rhinos have won 47 Super League encounters, whereas Salford have won just eight. Neither side were able to accumulate enough points to make the Play-Offs last time out, so both will be aiming to hit the ground running in this enticing encounter.

Jerome's prediction: Leeds Rhinos

Our League member predictions: Rhinos: 87%, Red Devils: 12%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%

Leigh Leopards v Huddersfield Giants

Leigh Leopards face Huddersfield Giants on home soil and won both of their Super League clashes with Huddersfield last year, scoring 30+ points in each victory. Huddersfield have recruited strongly in the off-season however and will be determined to build on last season's disappointment.

Jerome's prediction: Leigh Leopards

Our League member predictions: Leopards: 81%, Giants: 18%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%

St Helens v London Broncos

The third and final game of Friday night sees London Broncos return to the big time when they travel to face a strong St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium. This will be the Broncos' first Super League game since 2019, where they won their opening match against Wakefield, 42-24.

Notably, the Broncos have won their previous two Super League meetings against the Saints, but will Paul Wellens' men prove too strong this time around?

Jerome's prediction: St Helens

Our League member predictions: Saints: 98%, Broncos: 2%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Castleford Tigers v Wigan Warriors

The defending Super League Champions Wigan Warriors will travel to Castleford Tigers' Mend-A-Hose Jungle fortress on Saturday, where they look to win their eighth consecutive Super League game against the Tigers.

Castleford will look to kick off their campaign with a home win and bounce back after last year - a year which saw them narrowly survive the dreaded relegation drop. But it will be a tough test for the Tigers, as they come up against a dominant Wigan side who will look to win it all in 2024.

Jerome's prediction: Wigan Warriors

Our League member predictions: Tigers: 6% Warriors: 94%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Catalans Dragons v Warrington Wolves

Catalans, last year's Grand Final runners-up, will enjoy home advantage in Round 1 as they take on Sam Burgess' Warrington Wolves. Whilst Catalans will be hoping to go one step further in 2024, Burgess will be hoping his side can start the season strong. As both teams are determined to succeed in 2024, this clash could be a tough one to call.

Jerome's prediction: Catalans Dragons

Our League member predictions: Dragons: 79%, Wolves: 20%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%
