Rowan Milnes joins Robins on short-term loan

Hull KR have confirmed the return of Rowan Milnes initially on a two-week loan from Castleford Tigers.

The 27-year-old scrum-half offers short-term cover for the Robins having previously represented Hull KR between 2020 and 2023, making 49 appearances.

Milnes previously left Sewell Group Craven Park for the Tigers ahead of the 2024 Betfred Super League season and has since gone on to make 36 appearances for Castleford.

Robins halfback Tyrone May was handed with a two-game suspension earlier this week for Questioning the Integrity of a Match Official in their 12-74 victory over Salford Red Devils but Milnes will now offer cover for the league leaders.

However, Milnes will not be available for the Robins clash with the Tigers this Saturday live on SuperLeague+ and Sky Sports.
