12 hrs

The 2025 Betfred Super League Play-Offs will break new ground this Friday night with a packed house at Leigh Sports Village for the Leopards’ first home Play-Off, and live coverage on Sky Sports, BBC Three and around the world through SuperLeague+.
Adrian Lam’s Leopards host Wakefield Trinity, making their first Play-Off appearance since 2012, in the first of two eliminators this weekend, followed on Saturday night by a heavyweight clash between the two most successful clubs of Super League’s first three decades, as Leeds Rhinos host St Helens at AMT Headingley.
Saturday’s match will be live and exclusive on Sky Sports, while the Leigh versus Wakefield eliminator will be the first time the Play-Offs have kicked off with a Friday night eliminator live on Sky Sports and free-to-air on BBC Three.
Next weekend, Wigan Warriors’ home semi final on Friday night (October 3) will be live and exclusive on Sky Sports, with the second semi final hosted by the League Leaders Shield winners Hull KR on Saturday evening kicking off at 530pm, live on Sky Sports and BBC Two.
SuperLeague+, Rugby League Commercial’s direct-to-consumer streaming service which was launched in 2024, will again offer live coverage around the world of all five matches from the 2025 Betfred Super League Play-Off series – up to and including the Grand Final on October 11.
The coverage will be available automatically to existing overseas subscribers, and a special Play-Off Pass has gone on sale this week offering live access to all five matches for just £14.99 - details here.
Subscribers in the UK will be able to watch the Leigh v Wakefield clash and Hull KR’s semi-final live with the remaining two play-off fixtures and Grand Final available on delay as normal.
Given strong early ticket sales across all four Play-Off fixtures, and with advance sales for the Grand Final 25% ahead of the corresponding stage last year, Rugby League Commercial are confident that last year’s record aggregate attendance for a five-match Play-Off series of 122,862 will be beaten.
Wakefield Trinity will have a travelling army of more than 2,000 for their Friday night trip to Leigh, while Hull KR are already well on the way to guaranteeing a 12,200 capacity crowd for their semi final at Sewell Group Craven Park on Saturday week even before the identity of their opponents is confirmed.
