Rhinos duo snap up Monthly Awards

Super League fans have spoken – and, unsurprisingly, the magnificent Maika Sivo has been named Glen’s Vodka Super League Player of the Month for February.

The Fijian winger is currently the competition’s top try scorer after the opening rounds of the 2026 campaign, with nine tries to his name.

Sivo started his scoring spree back in Round 2 for the Rhinos, with two tries against newcomers York Knights

This was before he stole the show in Las Vegas with a truly mesmerising performance, scoring four tries, running 191 metres and making ten tackle busts on the left edge.

He then backed his form up the following week in with a hat-trick at AMT Headingley against local rivals Castleford Tigers.

Taking the Super League by storm, Sivo has been an unstoppable force, and is only set to get better as the season goes on.

Fellow Rhinos teammate and Super League’s all-time top try scorer, Ryan Hall, has also been awarded the first BOOST Try of the Month in 2026, making it a double for Leeds in the first set of monthly awards.

Hall crossed for a stunning try in Las Vegas, which was also set up by Sivo; from one end of the field to another.

The battle for who will follow Sivo and Hall in March will continue on Thursday 19 March when Wigan Warriors welcome the Knights to town to kick off Round 5.
