Hull KR duo Jack Broadbent and Joe Burgess helped their side earn another Good Friday victory against local rivals, Hull FC.
Broadbent scored and set up a try while also running for an impressive 229 metres from 24 carries, with Burgess scoring a brace of tries and setting up another.
Bill Leyland wrote himself into St Helens folk law during Rivals Round after scoring two tries to secure a huge comeback victory against Wigan. Saints stand in skipper Jackson Hastings was equally as influential, crossing for a try and setting up another.
James McDonnell’s effort against Bradford on Friday helped the Rhinos secure a win against the Bulls.
Bradford skipper Joe Mellor was impressive in defeat too, having a huge impact through the middle which included a round best 69 tackles.
Two tried from Jacob Gagai helped Huddersfield secure back-to-back victories in Betfred Super League. Gagai also ran for 198 metres from 20 carries against the Knights on Saturday.
James Harrison and James Bentley both helped Warrington climb to top of the Super League table over the weekend – Bentley crossing for a try on his league debut for the Wire, while Harrison carried for 137 metres from 20 carries, and made 32 tackles.
Solomona Faataape’s strong start to life in the South of France continued in Rivals Round. He scored a try and set up another during Catalans’ 33-26 victory against Toulouse.
Trinity’s Jake Trueman was influential during his sides convincing win against Cas on Easter Sunday and crossed for two tries in their 34-0 win, while teammate Caleb Hamlin-Uele was devastating through the middle – the front rower ran for 158 metres from 18 carries and made 29 tackles.
