Let’s look at April’s fixtures and ways to travel with Northern…

Round 8 (16-19 April)

Round 8 kicks off with Hull FC hosting St Helens on the Thursday, and it’s just a 20 to 30 minute walk to the MKM Stadium from Hull Station. Time to get marching, Saints fans!

A West Yorkshire Derby is calling between Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos on Friday. It’s a short train trip for Rhinos fans, before a 15-minute walk to the Accu Stadium from the town centre.

York Knights will face Leigh Leopards on home soil in Round 8, so for any Leopards fans wanting to attend their away fixture by train, here’s how! The Northern line runs into York Station with regular buses to and from the stadium available to catch for any fans travelling by train.

The Bradford Bulls Faithful are expected to travel in their numbers to Wakefield on the Saturday. Sandal & Agbrigg Station is a 20-minute walk to the DIY Kitchens Stadium, with Wakefield Kirkgate also 20 minutes from the ground on foot.

Then, Wigan Warriors are back at The Brick to take on Castleford Tigers on Sunday. Take your pick from Wigan Wallgate or Wigan North Western if you’re a loyal Tigers fan coming to this one! Both are just a 20-minute walk to the stadium.

Round 9 (23-25 April)

Atherton (nearest), Wigan North Western and Newton-le-Willows are your options if travelling by train to Leigh Leopards versus Huddersfield Giants on Thursday. Fans can then hop on and off local buses to and from Leigh Sports Village, ensuring they make their match with plenty of time to spare.

With a series of revitalised Giants performances in recent weeks, can the Claret & Gold be encouraged to come and support their side?

A fierce rivalry will be renewed when Warrington and Wigan go head-to-head under the Friday Night Lights. And Warrington Central is just a short walk of seven minutes to the Halliwell Jones Stadium – perfect for Warriors fans making the short trip in Round 9.

Could this be a battle for top spot in the table? We should expect fireworks either way!

The Black & Whites always enjoy an away trip to Cas town, and fans can reach their destination of The OneBore Stadium in less than 20 minutes (on foot) from Castleford Station, when Hull FC take on the Tigers in Round 9 - also on Friday.

On the Saturday, Bradford are at home to Hull KR, while Wakefield fans will cross the Pennines to St Helens.

Northern trains run right into the city at Bradford Interchange or at the opposite side to Low Moor. It’s then the quickest of bus trips to Bartercard Odsal where ‘Bullmania’ has been reignited, and Robins fans can experience this live!

Bradford recently revealed an average gate of just under 11,000 at Bartercard Odsal so far in 2026, therefore another bumper crowd is eagerly anticipated when the champions pay a visit.

St Helens Central Station is the closest option for Trinity, and a 16-minute walk away.

Round 10 (30 April-3 May)

The Robins take on the Tigers in Round 10's opening match, meaning, again, Hull Station is the nearest before hopping on a local bus straight through to Sewell Group Craven Park.

A delicious West Yorkshire Derby awaits on Friday at AMT Headingley. If you’re off to watch Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity's clash, then there are connecting Northern trains ready and waiting to catch from Leeds Station.

Why not enjoy the city of Leeds, before hopping on a train to the Headingley or Burley Park Stations; taking you there in under ten minutes! Travelling by train has always been a popular choice for the Red, White & Blue Army when their yearly away fixture at the Rhinos pops up.

The second offering on Friday Night is St Helens versus York Knights. It's approximately a 16-minute walk from St Helens Central Station to the BrewDog Stadium.

An epic encounter awaits between Wigan and Bradford on the Saturday – and Bulls supporters can take their pick between Wigan Wallgate or Wigan North Western.

Did you know that trains also run frequently to Huddersfield Station, which is situated in the town centre? This is great news for Warrington Wolves who are predicted to take a healthy away following to the Accu Stadium when they meet with the Giants, as they looked to continue their strong start to the 2026 campaign.

Round 11 (14-17 May)

In Round 11, Huddersfield welcome St Helens, with the town’s train station reachable within a 16-minute walking distance.

The standout tie of this round is arguably Wigan Warriors versus Leeds Rhinos. Anything could happen when these two Super League heavyweights come to blows, and Rhinos fans can get there via Wigan Wallgate or Wigan North Western Stations, followed by 20 minutes on foot.

At the weekend, the Knights host the Tigers and the Leopards take on the Robins. It's York and Hull Station that travelling fans should be aiming for, with regular buses available to their respective fixtures.

Finally, Bradford versus Hull FC is expeced to attract yet another huge crowd on the Sunday. There's two stations in the city - Bradford Interchange or Low Moor.
