John Cartwright to Lead the Dragons Until the End of the Season

The Dragons have announced that former Hull FC Head Coach, John Cartwright, will take charge of the French side until the end of the 2026 Betfred Super League season.

Cartwright took charge of the Black and Whites in 2025 and stood down with immediate effect in April.

The Dragons’ new Head Coach will be assisted by Ryan Sheridan, Micky McIlorum and Mitchell Pearce.

John Cartwright said : “I am really looking forward to the rest of the season with Catalans. It came totally out of the blue which makes it all the more exciting. Can’t thank Bernard enough for this opportunity.”
