Round 10 of the Betfred Wheelchair Super League delivered plenty of drama as unbeaten runs came to an end and new milestones were reached as several sides picked up crucial victories.

Bradford Bulls got the weekend underway by securing an impressive win over Sheffield Eagles to claim their first victory since joining the top flight this season.

Led by Head Coach Kieron Johnson, the Bulls dominated from the outset against an Eagles side featuring five Super League debutants.

Bradford’s intensity and attacking threat proved too much for Sheffield, who struggled to match the pace throughout the contest.

The Bulls will now look to build on that momentum when they travel to face London Roosters this weekend.

The Roosters were involved in one of the closest contests of the round when they took on Leeds Rhinos on Saturday.

Looking to bounce back after their Betfred Challenge Cup Final defeat to Halifax Panthers, Leeds were determined to make their home advantage count.

London pushed them all the way in an entertaining contest, however the Rhinos held their nerve to secure an important victory, strengthening their position in the standings.

Sunday’s headline result came as current league leaders the Panthers saw their remarkable winning streak brought to an end by Wigan Warriors, who produced a statement 60-18 victory to climb into second place. 

Wigan made the perfect start after Jack Heggie crossed inside the opening two minutes before adding the conversion and a penalty goal to establish an early 8-0 lead.

Toby Burton-Carter then combined with Mel Griffith for successive tries, with Heggie again adding the extras as the Warriors extended their advantage to 20-0.

The home side continued to dominate, absorbing Halifax’s attacking pressure before heading into the break with a commanding 42-14 lead.

The second half remained scoreless for 18 minutes until Heggie spotted a gap in the Panther’s defence and reached over to add to his tally.

Wigan maintained control for the remainder of the match to become the first team to beat the Panthers since 2024, never trailing and establishing themselves as a real threat to their title retention in 2026.

The final game of the weekend saw Hull FC welcome Edinburgh Giants with both sides aiming to bounce back from difficult defeats in the previous round.

The Giants, who until Sunday had only seen victory once in 2026, were able to put on a strong display against FC.

A clinical attacking display saw Edinburgh run out convincing  20-64 winners, giving them renewed confidence heading into the closing stages of the season.
