Round 12 of the Betfred Wheelchair Super League commences on Saturday and with just three rounds of the regular season remaining, teams will be looking to make a final push for the top spots and secure home advantage heading into the play-offs.

London Roosters face Wigan Warriors this weekend, with only two points separating the sides ahead of their match (KO 2pm).

The teams last met in Round 7, when the Warriors claimed a 31-22 victory. This time, Roosters’ captain Lewis King is determined to deliver a strong performance against one of the competition’s top-four contenders:

“I think it's important that we're full strength in the Super League teams now, there's no one going to be missing and it's time to really nail down how we want to play.

“We've competed against Halifax the last two seasons, narrowly missing beating them.

“We're preparing to play the best team in the play-offs and if we come fourth then we just want to be in the strongest position that we can be in.

“Our aim is to finish second and get a home fixture so we get the advantage, but we can't control how Leeds and Wigan are going to pan out for the rest of the season.

“We're just going to concentrate on ourselves and make sure we're putting in the best performances we can do.”

With no further England camps scheduled during the Super League season, the Roosters are back at full strength and ready to make their mark in the final rounds:

“It's been a bit of a funny season because everyone that has been in England camp has missed two games and obviously it gives reserves players the chance to step up and take that opportunity to play in a Super League game.

“I found it quite interesting, to see how all those players got on in the Super League fixture without us more experienced, established players as part of the team.

“Unfortunately, we played Leeds and we were winning at half-time but I think we probably just ran out of steam in the last 10 minutes. Leeds won by 12 points so it was a close competitive game.

“I knew it would be because London were missing three and Leeds were also missing three of their key players, so it sort of balanced itself out really - from what I heard, it was a really good game.”

Following their clash with Leeds, the Roosters now face Halifax and Wigan - the remaining top-four sides - as they look to show they have what it takes to challenge for the Super League title:

“I think everyone's available for the remaining games so it'll be good to see how the season pans out.

“We've had some results that we didn't necessarily think would go certain ways, it'll be interesting to see who's going to finish in the top four.

“I've looked at all the remaining fixtures for not only London but Leeds and Wigan as well, it could come down to points difference on the last game of the season before we go into playoffs, so I think it's important that we're full strength.

Elsewhere, Hull FC welcome Halifax Panthers (KO 2:30pm).

The Black and Whites will be looking to respond after a difficult Round 7 meeting in which they scored just six points to Halifax’s 99.

Sheffield Eagles also host Edinburgh Giants on Saturday (KO 12:45pm).

Both sides joined the competition in 2025 and have shown clear progress throughout the campaign.

The Giants will be looking to turn the tables after the Eagles produced a dominant 70-38 win in Round 6.

The final game of the weekend sees Bradford Bulls host Leeds Rhinos (KO 1:30pm) as their local rivalry resumes.

Bradford will be targeting an improved performance after their Round 6 defeat to a Rhinos side still chasing a strong top-four finish.
