Wigan Warriors v Wakefield Trinity (20:00) - live on Sky Sports
Round 24 begins with a blockbuster clash in The Final Charge calendar - and it's between two sides firmly in the Play-Off picture.
A red hot Wigan enter Friday’s showdown level on points with Leeds Rhinos at the top of the Super League table and having won eleven consecutive matches.
Matt Peet's side know there is little room for error if they are to overtake the Rhinos in the race for the League Leaders' Shield and could move into first with a victory on Friday - at least until Leeds play York Knights on the Sunday.
Wakefield, meanwhile, will be desperate to bounce back after last weekend's heavy defeat to St Helens which delayed their chance to secure a Play-Off place and significantly damaged their top two hopes.
Trinity remain well-positioned inside the top six but know a win against the Warriors would represent a huge statement heading into the final weeks of the campaign.
However, it's the Warriors who have won their last ten home meetings with Wakefield and they'll be aiming to complete a league double over their West Yorkshire opponents in 2026.
Trinity's last win at The Brick Community Stadium came all the way back in 2017…
For Wigan, Finlay Yeomans and Brad O'Neill come into the team, replacing Lewis Daniels and Evan Buckley.
There are five changes for Wakefield including two new recruits.
Alongside Emre Guler and Zac Lipowicz, Powell has been able to welcome back Oliver Pratt from injury, whilst youngsters Kian McGann and Myles Lawford are also added to the squad.
Daryl Powell's men will be without Tom Johnstone, Josh Rourke and Isaiah Vagana with the trio picking up injuries in the build up to last week’s game with St Helens or during.

Leigh Leopards v Bradford Bulls (20:00) - live on Sky Sports+ and SuperLeague+
There’s another taste of Las Vegas 2027 in Round 24!
Fresh from one of the results of the season against the table toppers last Thursday, Leigh Leopards return home full of confidence as they host Bradford Bulls.
Adrian Lam's side stunned the Rhinos at AMT Headingley last week to strengthen their grip on sixth place and reignite ambitions of climbing even higher in the standings.
The Leopards find themselves four points clear of seventh-placed St Helens and firmly in control of their own destiny.
Leigh cannot mathematically secure a Play-Off place this weekend, but another win would move them one step closer.
An injury-hit Bulls are currently rooted to the bottom of the Super League table and will be hoping to improve on their recent performances this weekend.
Saturday 22 August
St Helens v Castleford Tigers (15:00) - live on Sky Sports+ and SuperLeague+
It’s another must-win match for the Saints this Saturday as they prepare to face Castleford Tigers.
Eamon O’Carroll’s side produced a superb response under pressure in Round 23, demolishing Wakefield to keep their Play-Off hopes alive.
Saints remain seventh, four points behind Leigh Leopards, but with four rounds remaining they are still in the hunt.
We should expect a fired-up Saints side, that’s for sure!
Any slip-up from this point onwards could prove costly, however, especially if Leigh continue their recent form.
Castleford have shown throughout 2026 that they are capable of upsetting more fancied opposition and will relish the opportunity to dent Saints' hopes and seal back-to-back wins.
Let's not forget that last time out the Tigers beat the Saints 30-10 at the OneBore Stadium in emphatic fashion...
Hull KR v Toulouse Olympique (17:30) - live on Sky Sports+ and SuperLeague+
Hull KR will be desperate to respond to their Tuesday Night defeat against the Wolves to avoid falling any more down the table.
Toulouse are in East Hull on Saturday, but can they cause any surprises?
Catalans Dragons v Hull FC (20:00 UK) - live on Sky Sports
Saturday night concludes in the south of France with Catalans Dragons hosting Hull FC, as Dragons head coach John Cartwright comes up against his former team for the first time.
Neither side has managed to find consistent form in recent weeks, but both will be eager to finish the season strongly as their attention starts to turn towards 2027.
The Dragons have found victories difficult to come by during the second half of the campaign and will be looking to reward their home supporters with a positive result on French soil. The Black & Whites, meanwhile, have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks and will be keen to build on those displays.
With pride on the line, does a competitive encounter under the lights at Stade Gilbert Brutus await?
Hull FC edged Catalans 24-20 in their most recent meeting.
Sunday 23 August
Warrington Wolves v Huddersfield Giants (15:00) - live on Sky Sports+ and SuperLeague+
Super League Sunday returns! This time, there’s a double-header to enjoy.
An in-form Warrington Wolves are chasing down Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors who currently occupy the top two spot - can they further capitalise on home turf?
The Giants have won their last four matches, which means it will be no easy fixture for Sam Burgess' side.
York Knights v Leeds Rhinos (15:00) - live on Sky Sports+ and SuperLeague+
Round 24 concludes with Leeds Rhinos looking to stay top against a York Knights team searching for another memorable scalp.
This will take place in front of a sold out LNER Community Stadium.
The Rhinos have been one of the competition's standout teams all season and despite last week's setback against Leigh, which saw their unbeaten run on home soil finally come to an end, they remain top of the tree with their destiny in their own hands.
Brad Arthur's side have already confirmed their Play-Off place and are now involved in a fierce League Leaders' Shield tussle with the Warriors, meaning every point is crucial.
Mark Applegarth's men have earned plenty of admirers during their debut Super League season and have consistently shown they can compete with established top flight clubs.
Leeds know every point matters in their bid for silverware, but can they overcome the Knights? Or will York produce one of the biggest results The Final Charge has ever seen?
