Super League Grand Final: Old Trafford ready for the Big Dance

Player arrivals, live music, pyrotechnics, a spectacular light show and the final chapter of Sir Kevin Sinfield’s 7 in 7 challenge will all feature at the 2026 Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford on October 3. 

The stage is set for the biggest game of the Super League season. 

Fans arriving at the stadium are encouraged to head to the South West corner to welcome the two finalists as they make their way into Old Trafford. 

Get there early, get close to the action and be part of the atmosphere as the players arrive. 

Fans should be in their seats by 5.30pm.

ONE FINAL RUN FOR KEV 

One of the most special moments of the evening will come before kick-off, when Sir Kevin Sinfield completes his 7 in 7 challenge at Old Trafford. 

After an extraordinary week of running seven marathons in seven days in support of the MND community and in memory of his great friend Rob Burrow MBE, Sinfield will finish his challenge at the home of the Super League Grand Final. 

He'll then head onto the Old Trafford pitch to present the Grand Final trophy. 

And there'll be one final detail to complete the journey. 

The match ball will accompany Kev on the final leg of his challenge, before he brings it onto the pitch for kick-off. 

It promises to be a special moment as the Rugby League family comes together to recognise an extraordinary achievement. 

SOUL SYMPHONY AT OLD TRAFFORD 

The Grand Final will have a soundtrack to match the occasion, with Soul Symphony performing at Old Trafford. 

Blending R&B, pop, hip-hop and more, the internationally renowned live act has performed at major sporting events and venues around the world, including Major League Baseball and the NFL. 

They'll perform ahead of kick-off before returning at half-time for another set. 

JERUSALEM RETURNS 

There are some traditions that belong at the Grand Final. 

Jerusalem is one of them. 

Laura Wright returns to Old Trafford to perform the iconic anthem, providing the final moment before the players take to the field. 

Then the lights go down. 

The pyrotechnics fire up. 

And it's time for the 2026 Betfred Super League Grand Final. 

YOU'RE PART OF THE SHOW 

Half-time will see Soul Symphony return to the stage before CUE transforms Old Trafford with a special light show. 

And this time, the crowd will be part of it. 

Fans will be invited to scan a QR code on the day and use their phones as part of the choreography, with instructions appearing on the big screens.

After 80 minutes of Rugby League, the 2026 Betfred Super League champions will be crowned.
