3 hrs
The Super League Grand Final will return to Old Trafford on Saturday 2 October 2027, with the home of Manchester United once again set to host rugby league’s biggest domestic occasion.
Saturday’s 2026 showpiece, when Wakefield Trinity defeated Warrington Wolves to clinch a first league success in 58 years, saw a sell-out crowd of 71,728 attend Old Trafford.
It was the fourth-highest attendance in Grand Final history as Super League once more delivered a spectacular conclusion to the season.
Following another record-breaking year for the competition, 2026 Grand Final ticket buyers will be rewarded with an exclusive opportunity to secure their seats for next year’s event before tickets go on general sale.
From 12pm today, everyone who purchased a ticket for the 2026 Grand Final will receive an exclusive link by email giving them access to a two-week priority sales window for the 2027 event.
The exclusive window will then close at 23:59 on Sunday 18 October, giving 2026 ticket buyers the first opportunity to secure their place at next year’s Grand Final.
Rhodri Jones, Managing Director of RL Commercial, said: “The 2026 Grand Final was another brilliant occasion for Super League, with a sell-out crowd of more than 71,000 fans creating an incredible atmosphere at Old Trafford.
“We’re delighted to confirm that we’ll be returning in 2027 and, following the superb support we’ve seen this year, we wanted to give the fans who were there in 2026 the first opportunity to secure their place for next year.
“The Grand Final is one of the biggest nights in the rugby league calendar and we’re already looking forward to seeing Old Trafford full again on 2 October 2027.”
All other fans will be able to pre-register their interest in tickets, with general ticket sales for the 2027 Grand Final to open ahead of the new Super League season. Further details on the general on-sale window will be announced in due course.
