St Helens 62-16 Hull FC

Adam Swift and Kevin Naiqama each scored hat-tricks as St Helens coasted to a 62-16 Betfred Super League win over Hull FC.

Hull made the perfect start as Joe Westerman gathered Jake Connor's kick to touch down before Carlos Tuimavave walked in for a try after Marc Sneyd's 40/20 gave them an attacking platform.

Lomax took a pass from Joseph Paulo to cross before he skipped away from three defenders to go over and he then sent Naiqama clear down the right to go in.

Lachlan Coote fed Adam Swift and then went in himself and converted all five scores for a 30-10 half-time lead.

Jez Litten went in under the posts for Hull but the rally was short-lived before Swift went in in the corner and soon completed his hat-trick and Naiqama then grabbed a second.

Coote fed Jack Welsby for his second try of the season and Naiqama claimed his third and fourth of the afternoon to wrap up victory.

St Helens coach Justin Holbrook said: "Kevin (Maiqama) is making a big impact for us. He’s starting to really step things up and now the better weather is here and the dry tracks are coming into play, we’ll be seeing the best of him.

"I thought Jonny (Lomax) was fantastic as well today. On his 200th game for the club I thought he owned the game. He took the right options and it was one of the best performances I’ve seen from a half-back.??

Hull coach lee Radford said: "If that’s the top two then we’ve clearly got some work to do.??
