A member of the panel will watch each Betfred Super League game in 2019 and award points to the three outstanding players: 3 points for their chosen stand-out performer, two points for the runner-up, and 1-point for their third ranked player. 

The scores will be made public every week, until Round 22 in mid-July. After that, the poll will be hidden until the Awards Ceremony in October.

St Helens vs Salford Red Devils (Alex Walmsley) 

A flag was flying at the Totally Wicked Stadium which stated ‘Never write off the Saints’, and not a truer word couldn’t have been spoken after they needed a late late try to secure victory against Salford. Alex Walmsley picked up 3-points after making 22 tackles and 155 metres. 

Warrington Wolves vs Hull (Jamie Shaul)

Jamie Shaul picked up another 3-points after his Hull FC side shocked Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones with a 19-12 victory to move in the top four. Shaul made 12 tackles, and 65 metres off 11 carries.

Catalans Dragons vs Wigan Warriors (Micky McIlorum)

A new Betfred Super League attendance record was set at the Nou Camp in Barcelona as a powerful second-half display saw Catalans beat Wigan 33-16 in front of a crowd of 31,555.

It was a special day for Micky McIlorum who was playing against his old team mates, and he picked up the 3-points after scoring a try, assisting a try and making 37 tackles.

London Broncos vs Wakefield Trinity (Jordan Abdull)

Jordan Abdull crossed for four first-half tries as London Broncos started fast and then had to hold on for a thrilling 42-34 Betfred Super League win over Wakefield Trinity.

Abdull also made nine tackle busts, five attacking kicks, 87 metres, and three clean breaks.

Leeds Rhinos vs Castleford Tigers (Jake Trueman)

Castleford Tigers ended a run of four straight defeats in all competitions with a 30-8 victory over struggling Leeds Rhinos at new-look Emerald Headingley.

Their young half-back Jake Trueman was instrumental in Castleford’s attack; he scored a try, assisted two tries, and made six attacking kicks.

Huddersfield Giants vs Hull KR (Jake Wardle)

Huddersfield Giants came from 16-8 down at half-time to secure a precious 30-22 Betfred Super League victory over Hull KR. Jake Wardle scored a try, assisted a try and 142 metres.
