Trinity sign Kelepi Tanginoa

Wakefield Trinity are delighted to announce the signing of Kelepi Tanginoa on a deal until the end of 2021!

Tanginoa, who can operate in the middle or back-row, arrives at Trinity with immediate effect and joins the rest of the squad for training today!

The 25-year old started his career at Parramatta and has since had spells with North Queensland Cowboys and Manly Sea Eagles.

Tanginoa says he’s excited to get into the swing of things straight away – and is ready, if called upon by Chris Chester, to take to the field on Saturday at the Dacia Magic Weekend!

“I’m really excited to be joining Wakefield.?? says Tanginoa.

“There are a few boys that I know already such as Tinirau Arona, Jacob Miller and David Fifita. I met the rest of the boys this morning and they seem a really good bunch. I’m looking forward to us all working together.

“I’m just trying to stay ready (if called upon this weekend). Hopefully I get the opportunity to play alongside the boys and if I get the chance I won’t hold back. I’m feeling pretty keen!??

Head Coach Chris Chester added:

“I’m over the moon we’ve got Kelepi tied down for the next two and a half years. He’s a player I’ve been trying to sign for the last few years, so to have him on board now is great for us!

“At this stage of the season, he will give the pack a big boost and help us go forward. He’s straight into training this morning and looking sharp, so I’m looking forward to seeing him out there on the field.??
