Hull FC 2-55 Huddersfield Giants

Huddersfield Giants' fondness of the Dacia Magic Weekend continued as they swept past Hull FC 55-2 at Anfield.

Adam O'Brien, Darnell McIntosh and Jermaine McGillvary scored two tries apiece as the Giants secured a ninth Magic win from 13 attempts.

Joe Wardle, Jacob Wardle, Alex Mellor and Aaron Murphy were also on target for the 10-try Giants.

Hull's only points came from the boot of Marc Sneyd in the first half.

Hull boss Lee Radford said: “We had a tough initial period and then you put in a second half like that and it’s like The Rocky Horror Show. We’ll have to listen now to how bad a team we are, what we have to change, but it’s all self-inflicted."

Huddersfield coach Simon Woolford said: "Obviously I’m very pleased and that was far and away our most complete performance of the season. I was surprised by Hull. We knew if we got our discipline right we might catch them off guard and we forced a lot of their errors."
