London Broncos’ loose forward Luke Yates went to the top of the tackling leader board on Thursday night after their crucial relegation victory over Hull KR. Yates made an impressive 54 tackles. He’s currently made 774 tackles this season averaging 43 tackles per game. 

Yates’ team mate, Rhys Williams,went to the top of the metres made leader board, after he made 167 metres. He’s currently made 2459 metres, averaging 129.4 metres a game. 

Cheyse Blair made 196 metres for Castleford Tigers against Salford Red Devils on Friday night, and three offloads, topping both in Tigers’ line-up. His team mate Liam Watts made 48 tackles and 127 metres in only 58 minutes.

Blair, Watts, Jesse Sene-LefaoJordan Rankin and Pete Mata’utia all made more than 100 metres, accounting for 50.25% of Tigers’ metres made. Matt Cook also made 20 tackles in only 18 minutes. 

Joey Lussick made an enormous 77 passes in only 53 minutes for Salford against Cas, he also made 35 tackles, that averages either a tackle or pass 2.1 times a minute. 

Pauli Pauli made the most metres for Wakefield Trinity; he made 151 metres and played a full 80 minutes for Trinity. 

Daryl Clark was Warrington Wolves’ star performer against Wakefield made a mammoth of 189 metres, 36 tackles, and 91 passes. Clark averaged either a pass or tackle 1.7 times a minute and an average gain of 12.6. Jake Mamo also made 197 metres and an average gain of 10.37. 

Tommy Makinson made an impressive 206 metres to go top of the metres made standings and scored a contender for try of the season in the corner for St Helens. 

Hooker, Aaron Smith played 73 minutes and has some big boots to fill in replacement of James Roby. He made 100 passes, and 41 tackles, averaging a tackle or pass 1.93 times a minute. 

Sam Powell made 36 tackles against Huddersfield Giants and 81 passes in 71 minutes, Powell has currently a tackle completion ratio of 94.3%. 

Louis Senior was the only Huddersfield player to break 100 metres by making 141 metres, he also scored a try and assisted a try. 

Ratu Naulago was a key performer in Hull FC’s demolition of Catalans Dragons in Perpignan. Naulago scored a try of the season contender with his length of the pitch try. He made 188 metres off 12 carries, an average gain of 15.6 metres. Naulago has scored eight tries in 11 appearances and made 1025 metres.  

Josh Griffin pipped Naulago to the most metres made in the FC side, by making 190 metres, he also scored a contender for try of the season after finishing off a great FC team move.
