Catalans Dragons moved into the top five with a convincing 44-10 victory over Wakefield Trinity.

Jodie Broughton scored a brace in the first-half and completed his hat-trick with the first try of the second-half.

Former Widnes Vikings man Matt Whitley went over for Dragons off a pass from Tony Gigot, before, Wiliame picked the ball up from dummy half to break through the Trinity defence to assist Samisoni Langi.

Reece Lyne opened Trinity's account after the try went to the video referee to check grounding.

The second-half turned into the Tony Gigot show, as he went over twice, one a contender for try of the season.

Bill Tupou scored Wakefield's second try of the game with the game already in Catalans hands.
