Physical Disability Rugby League match at Old Trafford for the Grand Final

Castleford Tigers PDRL and Wakefield Trinity PDRL teams will face each other in a special game at the Theatre of Dreams, prior to the Betfred Super League Grand Final.

It is the first time that Super League has hosted an exhibition match of its kind ahead of the biggest match of the season.

Warrington Wolves PDRL against Leeds Rhinos PDRL was one of the highlights of the Dacia Magic Weekend.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 4.55pm.

Keep an eye out over the coming weeks for some headline signings for each team.

Tom Brindle, Head of Growth at The RFL said: “PDRL, now in its second year, has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2018.

"A league format was added this season, which saw a champion team named after playing a full set of fixtures against sides home and away.

"The huge growth of the game in 2019 has attracted more teams and players to the sport and significantly raised its profile. Having the opportunity to showcase it to a new audience, on the biggest stages such as Anfield and now Old Trafford, will only help it to grow further.??
