Ritson wins Northern Try of the Month

The 2023 Betfred Super League season started with a bang, and we were treated to some expectational tries in the opening two rounds.

Of all the tries scored in February, a shortlist of six was put to a fan vote and after a close fought contest, Tee Ritson has been named as February's Northern Try of the Month winner.

Ritson, who joined current Super League champions St Helens in the off-season after impressing in the Championship with Barrow Raiders, has had a whirlwind start to his Saints career including try against St George Illawarra in pre-season.

It was Ritson's try on his Betfred Super League debut, against Castleford Tigers in Round 2, that captured fans attention in the Try of the Month voting.

The Northern Try of the Month is awarded each month of the Super League season running from February to September, with fans giving the chance to pick their favourite and vote via the Our League app.
