Play-Off Semi-Finals Round Up
6 Oct 2024

Wigan Warriors and Hull KR have booked their places in the 2024 Betfred Super League Grand Final following their emphatic home semi-final victories.
On Friday night, Hull KR beat Warrington Wolves in dramatic fashion to secure their spot at Old Trafford, in what will be their maiden Grand Final.
It was a sell out at Sewell Group Craven Park where an incredibly tight and tense battle unfolded between the two sides, with two tries in each half.
James Batchelor and Joe Burgess were on the scoresheet to give the Robins an 10-0 early lead, but two fantastic efforts from Matty Ashton then brought the Wolves within two (10-8).
With the game in the balance, it was a nail-biting final ten minutes with Warrington trying everything they possibly could. They were quickly closed down by the onrushing Robins defence, as Willie Peters’ men held out to send themselves to the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday.

The second Semi-Final proved more one sided as Wigan Warriors romped home to victory against Leigh Leopards at The Brick Community Stadium.
A dominant 38-0 performance from start to finish by the Warriors saw them reach the Grand Final for a second successive year, as a record 20,000+ spectators watched on.
Liam Marshall opened the scoring before Sam Walters scored a second for the Warriors, with Marshall crossing again on the stroke of half-time, as the current Champions raced away with the lead.
Walters grabbed another after the break before moments of individual brilliance by Bevan French. Jai Field then sealed the win for the Cherry and Whites.
