Hull KR
Form: WWWW
Current league position: 1st (38 points)
Remaining fixtures: Leeds Rhinos (Away), St Helens (Away), Hull FC (Home), Wakefield Trinity (Away), Warrington Wolves (Home)
Hull KR have made a real statement in 2025 and have one hand firmly on the League Leaders’ Shield heading into The Final Charge.
The Robins have topped the table since Round 4 and are the only team to have qualified for this year’s Play-Offs so far.
Having endured just three losses all season, Willie Peters’ men are well and truly unstoppable – boasting the best attack as well as the best defence across the league.
And this Friday gone, they defeated Wigan Warriors in The Battle of the Brick to give themselves a six-point advantage at the top of the table – something which will have undoubtedly given the Robins the world of confidence at such a crucial stage in the calendar.
But it’s not over yet. If results work in their favour, then Hull KR could be on course to officially lift the Shield at home against their nearest and dearest Hull FC in three weeks’ time – ouch!
With this very nearly in the bag, they must keep focused on building momentum towards the Play-Offs, especially if they’re wanting to make the Grand Final for a second successive year and win it this time round.
Are the Robins on for the treble? Many would believe so.

Wigan Warriors
Form: LWWL
Current league position: 2nd (32 points)
Remaining fixtures: Wakefield Trinity (Home), Catalans Dragons (Away), St Helens (Away), Castleford Tigers (Home), Leeds Rhinos (Home)
The champions have had ups and downs in 2025 but are notoriously known to gear up it a notch come the back end of the year.
A defeat to the Robins last Friday may have cost Wigan the League Leaders’ Shield, but a win this Sunday against Wakefield will officially secure their place in the Play-Offs.
With pressure mounting on the Warriors from teams below, second spot is now theirs to lose.
Rivals Saints, Leeds and Leigh are all ferociously knocking on the door, with plenty of movement in the league positions expected before the regular season concludes.
All eyes will turn to the Cherry & Whites’ Derby Day with St Helens in Round 25 – what implications could this result have on the final standings? It’s going to get heated, that’s for sure!
The Warriors always find a way to win when it matters, but will they grace the Old Trafford turf this October and be able to defend the Super League trophy? They won’t want to let go of another piece of silverware so easily.
But there’s a long way to go before Grand Final Day, and Matt Peets’ men will need to hold their nerve before even thinking about the possibility, and must ensure perfect performances in their remaining games.

St Helens
Form: LWWW
Current league position: 3rd (30 points)
Remaining fixtures: Hull FC (Home), Hull KR (Away), Wigan Warriors (Home), Leigh Leopards (Away), Castleford Tigers (Away)
The Red V are coming good at just the right time. Saints copped a bit of flack during mid-season with a string of poor showings and went massively under the radar, but the league table doesn’t lie, and Paul Wellens’ side are impressively marching on into the business end of the year.
Their demolition of Huddersfield Giants on Sunday stands them in good stead – and they’re sitting pretty in third with a hefty points difference in their favour.
Their run of fixtures doesn’t get any easier, however, with four top six sides still left to play.
St Helens are searching for their first Grand Final appearance since 2022 and a win for them this weekend coupled with a Wigan loss would open up the gates to second place.
Who would have predicted this at the start of the year? Never write off the Saints.

Leeds Rhinos
Form: WLWW
Current league position: 4th (30 points)
Remaining fixtures: Hull KR (Home), Hull FC (Away), Huddersfield Giants (Away), Catalans Dragons (Home), Wigan Warriors (Away)
Brad Arthur has got Leeds Rhinos playing like the glory days. Their attractive brand of rugby league has lit up the Super League this season and just like Saints, they have their eyes set on a second-place finish.
Arthur has worked wonders with this Rhinos outfit, and they are placed in a very strong position as a result.
Everyone will be circling their fixture with Hull KR on Thursday night – a blockbuster showdown between two Play-Off rivals which is also a highly anticipated Las Vegas Warm-Up.
This tasty tie is also going to be their third meeting of the year and it's currently one apiece. The result could go either way, but what will this mean for the Play-Off permutations?
After this game, Leeds are on the road for three of their remaining four games, so will have to keep their wits about them.
Can the Rhinos avoid a three-year hiatus from Old Trafford? They were finalists in 2022, but it’s been eight years since they last lifted Super League trophy back in 2017.
Is it finally their time to shine again?

Leigh Leopards
Form: WWLL
Current league position: 5th (29 points)
Remaining fixtures: Salford Red Devils (Home), Castleford Tigers (Home), Warrington Wolves (Away), St Helens (Home), Huddersfield Giants (Home)
Will home advantage be key for the Leopards throughout The Final Charge? Adrian Lam’s men have been a genuine force to be reckoned with and have gathered some impressive momentum midway through the season.
The Leopards beat the top two back-to-back last month and are a dangerous side on their day.
They do, however, come into their final five fixtures on the back of two losses and certainly can’t afford to drop off now.
Similar to Saints and Leeds, Leigh are on the hunt for second place – which is still well in reach and a realistic goal. Left to play are four teams below them in the table, but they shouldn’t underestimate the likes of Huddersfield and Warrington.
The Giants have knocked off sixth placed Hull FC twice this season, while Warrington are fighting for their lives to make the top six.
Hopefully, the roars at the Leigh Sports Village will see them until the end – can the club secure their highest ever Super League finish?
They made the Eliminators in 2022 and the Semi-Finals in 2023 – is this the year the Leopards leap and go one step further?

Hull FC
Form: WLWW
Current league position: 6th (25 points)
Remaining fixtures: St Helens (Away), Leeds Rhinos (Home), Hull KR (Away), Warrington Wolves (Home), Catalans Dragons (Home)
The Black & Whites have made vast improvements on their 2024 season, and under John Cartwright’s tenure, sixth spot is now theirs to lose.
Hull FC have impressed in recent weeks, especially with their statement victory over Leigh Leopards on Saturday.
They do, however, have arguably one of the toughest run-ins, with three of the current top six left to play (St Helens, Leeds and Hull KR).
Can they pick up points against teams in the top four?
Hull will then be targeting their tie against Warrington, where a win here could effectively put their opponents out of the Play-Off race once and for all.
Their league double over a chasing Wakefield has been key for the Black & Whites in 2025.
Will Hull stay in sixth?

Wakefield Trinity
Form: LWWL
Current league position: 7th (24 points)
Remaining fixtures: Wigan Warriors (Away), Huddersfield Giants (Home), Castleford Tigers (Away), Hull KR (Home), Salford Red Devils (Away)
Every game from now is a must win for Trin. They will be disappointed that they don’t have more points on the board and there will definitely be a few results that could come back to haunt them.
Wakefield have failed to close out matches when they needed to – their results against Hull KR and Hull FC in the early rounds, as well as their Golden Point defeat to Catalans Dragons, spring to mind.
Albeit, they have pulled off a series of major scalps – beating the likes of Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Leopards in their first year back in Super League.
But losing three times to Saints has proved costly, as has losing their fixture against Hull FC in Round 18. Will these missed opportunities be looked back on if they don't make the top six cut?
It’s going to be a tough test for Daryl Powell’s side as they travel to face Wigan Warriors at The Brick on Sunday – a side who will be left reeling from their costly loss to Hull KR.
But if Wakefield win this week and Hull FC lose, then Wakefield could close in on that prized sixth place and even climb straight back into it. It's looking likely to be a ding-dong battle between the two sides until the finishing line...

Warrington Wolves
Form: LLLW
Current league position: 8th (20 points)
Remaining fixtures: Huddersfield Giants (Away), Salford Red Devils (Home), Leigh Leopards (Home), Hull FC (Away), Hull KR (Away)
Consistently inconsistent is one way to describe Warrington’s season. So much so that most people had written Wire off many weeks ago.
But with other results going their way and a comeback win against Catalans Dragons last Thursday, Sam Burgess’ side are hanging on in there, and find themselves just two points behind Trinity and still in contention for the six.
It’s quite unbelievable that they are still in the mix to make the Play-Offs, but that won't phase the Warrington Faithful.
They are favourites to win their next two fixtures but must in turn hope that Hull FC and Wakefield slip-up along the way.
It’s been a disappointing league season in comparison to last year where they finished third, but can they salvage it just in time?
Can the Wolves have a change in fortunes?
